A késő klasszicista stílusban, 1878-79-ben épült emeletes Luby-kastélyt részben kora eklektikus stílusban átalakították. Itt született Luby Margit tanár, neves szatmári néprajzkutató, aki a közeli családi kriptában nyugszik. A kastély teljesen lepusztult állapotban van, körbekerítve, de kapuja tárva-nyitva, őrizetlen épület. Teljesen kifosztva, szétverve várakozik sorsára. Információk szerint magán tulajdonban van, el szeretnék adni, mivel a felújításra vállalt határidő lejárt, de egy kapavágás nem sok annyit nem tett a tulajdonosa.

A kastély felújítása ÚMFT forrásból 2010-ben megkezdődött, várhatóan 2011. áprilisára készül el. Az építkezés miatt a teljes területet körbekerítették, lezárták. |
